SPECIAL EDITION LOCO
After a long, long wait I finally received my order. It was quick to build and I mounted it to a baseboard for display.
I soldered wires to the contacts inside the battery box and ran them down through a hole in the baseboard. They connect to two screws in the side of the board that allows a transformer to clip on. This way the model can run at shows for ages.
I still have to see how long the plastic pinion running against the contrate will last!
So far it has run for 1 hour with no problems.
