More Repairs

I used the plastic from a stiffy disk to recreate one of the missing axle boxes

as well as to repair the other damaged one.

The o ring seals on the adapter were old and brittle. I replaced them and still had leaking.

I could not tell if the leak was in the o rings or where the plastic joins up with the metal seat.

I filled the butane canister with water and tightened in the adapter.

I pressurized the canister to see where it was leaking from. The leak was where the plastic

joins up with the metal seat! The o rings were fine.

I used an acrylic epoxy to seal the leak where the plastic joins up with the

metal seat.

The draw bar that joins the tender and engine was missing. I made a new one from

1mm iron sheeting and sprayed it gloss black.
