PLATE AND STRIP ROLLER
A few pics of a basic plate and strip roller.
I obtained the rollers from a club member, Wessel Mathews who turned and tapped the rollers for me.
The rollers are standard Meccano coupling diameter. I guess you could use standard couplings with short grub screws,
but I imagine they could damage the finish of plates and strips.
19 tooth pinions on each rod link each roller to pull the strip through the rollers evenly.
To use the machine, turn the threaded rod to get the desired radius and feed the plate or strip into the rollers by turning the wheel - simple.
